Preparing for your visit:
- A provider will call you within the 30 minutes before or after your scheduled appointment time. This window is flexible so providers can adjust to changes in schedules due to following Centers for Disease Control patient care guidelines.
- The day of your visit, you will also receive a call from a nurse to update your chart and prepare you for the visit. Please answer calls from numbers you may not recognize, including numbers that may show up as blocked.
- If you do not answer, we will leave a voicemail. We will attempt to call you three times for your scheduled appointment.
- After your call, you will receive an After Visit Summary (AVS) via MyAltaMed (your patient portal account).
- You may also receive calls from our nursing staff regarding lab or imaging results or to coordinate a follow-up visit.
Video Appointments
For the best experience, please be in a safe, well lit, and quiet location. For the best picture quality on your phone, connect to WiFi. You don’t need to download any special programs to complete a video visit, but you can find technical information to prepare for a telehealth visit here.
