We understand that getting your lab results can be an emotional event, but we’re pleased that you are taking these important steps for your health care by getting these preventive exams. On August 15, 2016, we implemented some changes to make getting your lab results a little easier.
With our new process your provider sends your results via an automated process as they are available. Once received, we send you a letter to communicate the overall interpretation of your labs. Please note, this letter will not include the details of your lab results; it will include the general results and whether or not you need to come in to see your doctor.
If you’d like to see the details of your lab results, you can access this information through our MyAltaMed Patient Portal. If you don’t have an account, please call (888) 499-9303 and an AltaMed representative can help you create an account.
