Nurse Advice Line

You can also get medical advice and answers to your health questions with our Nurse Advice Line. Speak with qualified nurses who are specially trained to help address your health problem(s) and manage minor illnesses. Like AltaMed Now, the Nurse Advice Line is available 24/7.

If you are a health plan member, you can find your Nurse Advice Line phone number here. If you are not a member of the listed health plans, call our Patient Service Center at (888) 499-9303 to get connected.

If you are a PACE participant, call your PACE site to speak with a doctor at any time.

For your convenience, many of our AltaMed clinics have pharmacies located in the same facilities you receive care, making it a breeze to fill your prescriptions.

AltaMed pharmacy services  include free delivery with same-day options, refill reminders and automatic refills or refill requests by phone on essential medications.

Pharmacy Services

AltaMed pharmacies offer lower-cost generic drugs and programs with insulin and supplies for diabetic patients. You do not have to be an AltaMed patient to fill your prescriptions at one of our pharmacies. That means you can conveniently fill all your family prescriptions and have them delivered to your home at no cost through an AltaMed pharmacy. Call us for a free and confidential consultation.

If you are an AltaMed patient, ask your provider to send all your prescriptions to an AltaMed pharmacy near you, then call the pharmacy to request delivery and/or automatic refills. Using an AltaMed pharmacy to fill your prescriptions ensures better care coordination between all your providers, and our clinical pharmacists will make sure your medications contribute to your best medical outcome. To schedule an appointment with a clinical pharmacist, please call (323) 597-2895.
