Who’s Eligible for AltaMed Viva Gold
AltaMed Viva Gold is available for all AltaMed patients 62 and older and those who are enrolled in Medicare. There is no additional cost. Our team can help you check your eligibility and guide you through enrollment.

AltaMed Viva Gold participants receive care from a team who specializes in senior care. You get longer appointment times – up to 40 minutes, care coordination, and access to a dedicated support line to help you with transportation coordination and pharmacy needs.
There's no additional cost beyond your regular Medicare coverage. You can expect to have the same co-pay/co-insurance as you do with your current Primary Care Provider. All AltaMed Viva Gold services are included in your standard Medicare benefits.
Your care team will coordinate your health and invite you to workshops and activities that support your overall well-being to keep you socially connected and engaged with your community.
We understand your connection to your current physician. To ensure you receive the most comprehensive care for your needs, you'll be transitioning to an AltaMed Viva Gold care team that specializes in senior care. Your current doctor can still be involved in coordinating your care and is available if you have questions or need support.
