people living with HIV/AIDS and coordinates nutrition services
for the HIV Division. Determines dietary needs of participants

Observes, analyzes and records diet therapies and patient’s
response to diets; evaluates the effectiveness of dietary
interventions, to determine necessary changes and or need
for supplemental feeding Requirements: Dietitian will be
registered or eligible for registration as a dietitian with
the Commission and Dietetic Registration. One or two years
experience in a healthcare setting. An active participant
of Dietitians in AIDS Care, Los Angeles ; and a member of
the American Dietetic Association’s HIV/AIDS Dietetic practice
group is preferred. Bilingual Spanish highly desired.
HIV
PREVENTION MANAGER: The HIV Prevention Manager
ensures that (1) all prevention and testing services are
client-centered and cost effective, (2) all continuum of
care for prevention, testing and health services is established
that can track referrals among the different services; and
(3) strategic planning is used for program development,
especially the identification of new funding sources in
line with the vision for AltaMed. Requirements: Bachelor
of Arts Degree in field applicable to HIV prevention. Otherwise,
